Playing with an Odd Number of Players
Bunco is usually played in groups divisible by four, but that’s not always how a game night comes together.
This tool is designed to keep everyone playing every round — no sitting out, and no ghost players needed.
When there’s a table with three players, each person plays individually. At the end of the round, the two players with the highest scores mark a W (win) on their scorecard, and the third player marks an L (loss).
If there’s a table with only two players, they also play individually. The player with the higher score marks a W, and the player with the lower score marks an L — but both players move up to the next table.
This approach keeps the game moving smoothly while making sure everyone stays engaged the entire time.
