Mafia Dice Tutorial
Needed
Two to eight players; five dice for each player in the game
Setup
Each player is given five dice to start the game. A scorecard is setup with each player starting with a set amount of points (such as 50 points).
Objective
The object of the game is to win points. Points are scored by winning a round. Rounds are won by the player who gets rid of their dice first.
Game Play
To start the game, each player rolls two of their five dice. The player with the highest roll goes first in the game.
During a turn, any sixes rolled are passed to the next player. Any ones rolled are removed from the game.
Players continue to take turns rolling and moving dice until a player has no dice left.
Scoring
At the end of a round, players still with dice will roll them. The total amount rolled equals the points each rolling player loses. The total of all the dice rolled equals the points the winner of the round is awarded.
Winning
The player with the most points after an agreed upon amount of rounds (such as ten) wins the game.
Rules
After a round, each player returns to having five dice. The player that won the last round will start the next round.
If a player loses all their points, they are out of the game.
Players can start the game with more points for longer games.
