Skittle Scatter Tutorial
Needed
Two to six players; Skittle Scatter game set
Setup
The pins are setup with the 1 and 2 pins in the front row. The 3, 10, and 4 pins are in the second row. The 5, 11, 12, and 6 pins are in the third row. And the 7, 8, and 9 pins are in the back row. A throwing line is created 10 feet away.
Objective
The object of the game is to be the first player to score 50 points. Points are scored by knocking over pins by throwing the skittle (main wooden dowel) at them.
If only one pin is knocked down, the player scores the number on the pin knocked down. If multiple pins are knocked down, the player scores the number of pins knocked down.
Game Play
The game begins with a player throwing the skittle at the pins. Based on the pin(s) knocked down, the score is recorded. The knocked down pins are then stood back up. The pins are stood up where they ended after being hit. The pins will become more scattered throughout the game play.
Play moves to the next player to throw the skittle. Players continue to take turns and score points.
Winning
The first player to score 50 points exactly wins the game. If a player goes over 50 points, their score goes back to 25 points.
Rules
All throws are made underhand.
A pin is not considered down if it is leaning on another pin or the skittle.
If a player gets zero points three times in a row, the player is knocked out of the game.
