Spar Tutorial
Needed
Two to seven players; 35 card deck (Aces down to the 6s in each suit with the ace of spades removed)
Deal
Each player is dealt five cards. First a set of three cards to each player, then two cards.
Objective
Spar is a trick taking game. A trick is created by each player playing a card into the middle. The player with the highest ranking card in the suit that was played first will win the trick.
Each round will have five tricks total. The object of the game is to score points by winning the last trick in the round.

Ace, King, Queen, Jack, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6
Game Play
The player left of the dealer will lead the first trick by playing any card into the middle. Players must play a card in the same suit that was led, whenever possible. If a player cannot follow suit, the player can play any card.
The player that played the highest ranking card in the lead suit wins the trick. The player that wins the trick will lead the next trick. Players continue to play to tricks until all cards have been played.
Scoring
The winner of the fifth and final trick in the round is awarded points based on the card rank that won the last trick.
If the trick was won with a 6 the player is awarded three points. If the trick was won with a 7, the player is awarded two points. If the trick was won with an 8 or higher, the player is awarded one point.
The game can be played to a specific point total or for a specific amount of rounds.
Rule
The player that wins a round is the dealer for the next round.
